DEUTSCHE VERSION Bad Wimpfen The puppet, teddy bear, and toy museum The puppet, teddy bear, and toy museum provides an overview of the puppet and toy history from 1845 to today's puppets. The oldest puppet is a Pierotti-Wachs puppet from 1845. Noble porcelain puppets and numerous puppets made of celluloid produced by well-known manufacturers round out the collection. A special rarity is the stiff teddy bear school from 1910. Apart from that one finds puppet hearths, Märklin-locomotives, railroad accessories, tin bathrooms, puppet dishes, rocking-horses, jumping jacks, a merry-go-round, market booths in front of the Bad Wimpfen panorama and many other playthings from the olden times. Particularly amazing is the stoneware baby from the mother school in its little child's bed. On the ground floor are artist puppets of today's puppet fabrication to admire.
